Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspection and verification of complex electrical panels and electrical assemblies.
• Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, cable schedules and customer specifications.
• Verify wiring connections, cable routing, terminals, connectors, components and labels against drawings and specifications.
• Identify incorrect wiring, missing connections, loose connections, wrong components and workmanship defects.
• Investigate electrical and wiring-related quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare inspection reports, 8D/CAPA reports and other quality documentation.
• Support customer complaints, engineering changes and production quality issues.
• Participate in FAI, NPI and production qualification activities.
• Establish and improve inspection methods, quality checkpoints and electrical testing requirements.
• Monitor production quality and identify trends or recurring defects.
• Support internal and customer audits when required.
• Support supplier audits when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering,
• At least 5 years' experience in QA, Quality Engineering, electrical panel assembly, wiring inspection, electronics manufacturing or EMS will be an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Good understanding of electrical components, wiring, connectors, terminals and electrical circuits.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify wiring and assembly discrepancies.
• Experience in communicating to customer.
• Experience in supplier audit and qualifications.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and CAPA
• Able to work closely with Production, Engineering and customers.
