The physics is precise. The electronics have to be, too. You’ll design, build and debug the circuits that help our quantum sensors work beyond the lab.
As an Electronics Engineer, you will take hardware from schematic and PCB layout through prototyping, assembly, testing and integration into our next-generation gravimeter. You will develop both analog and digital electronics, troubleshoot what happens when boards meet the wider system and improve designs for field use.
You will work alongside physicists, mechanical engineers and software engineers, with room to propose better ways to solve real hardware problems.
We cool atoms with lasers to near absolute zero to measure tiny changes in gravity. Yes, really. That experiment depends on electronics that can be designed, tested and integrated into a compact sensor system.
You can take an electronics design from a clear requirement to a tested, working board; explain the decisions you made; and work with the wider team to resolve what happens during system integration. The result is electronics that are easier to build, debug and use as the sensor moves toward deployment.
Subsurface intelligence takes more than one discipline. People bring different expertise to the same problem, and what happens in one part of the system shapes the next.
The roles are different, but the goal is shared: make subsurface intelligence useful where it matters.
Exposure to deep-tech research and product development, with the chance to see how prototype decisions shape a working sensing system.
