Job Responsibilities
- Define sales, revenue and profit goals for the product line;
- Secure approval for financial and operational targets and drive execution as the product owner.
Market Strategy Development
- Analyze consumer electronics market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities;
- Identify growth opportunities and develop competitive positioning strategies;
- Deliver regular business and competitor intelligence reports to leadership.
Go-to Market and Pre-Sales Support
- Drive business development with value propositions, demos, and sales tools;
- Provide sales and marketing teams with product launch materials and technical input.
Product & Technology Roadmap
- Own the product line vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with industry and customer trends;
- Translate market insights into clear R&D directions and technology initiatives;
- Partner with R&D and Operations to ensure timely, competitive product launches.
New Product Development
- Sponsor and oversee new product development projects from concept to launch;
- Define product requirements, quality standards, and service expectations;
- Ensure cross-functional execution across engineering, marketing, and operations.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage pricing, cost, and margin to maximize competitiveness;
- Monitor product performance, customer satisfaction, and market share;
- Drive continuous improvements in delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, physics, optics, electronics or related field.
Work Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in product or manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive or consumer electronics industries;
- Hands-on experience supporting engineering builds and production at a manufacturing site.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, yield management, and shop-floor execution.
Professional Qualities
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a factory environment;
- risk management ability to identify the specific risk and hand-up to the leadership team asap, meanwhile can organize the cross- function team to mitigate it.
