About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Network Engineer to support, maintain and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure and network environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security and reliability of servers, networks and related infrastructure systems while supporting daily IT operations and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration

• Manage and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments, including installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Monitor infrastructure health, system performance, availability and capacity.
• Perform system upgrades, preventive maintenance, backup and recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot server, operating system, storage and infrastructure-related issues.

Network Administration & Support

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Support LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP network services.
• Monitor network connectivity, performance and availability to minimize service disruptions.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents, including connectivity, latency and routing issues.
• Support network security controls, firewall rules and infrastructure hardening.

IT Operations & Project Support

• Provide Level 2 technical support for infrastructure and network incidents.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues.
• Support infrastructure deployment, migration, upgrades and technology refresh projects.
• Maintain network diagrams, infrastructure inventories, configuration records and technical documentation.
• Follow ITIL-based incident, problem and change management processes.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance activities and provide escalation support when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration and network support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP and VPN.
• Experience supporting routers, switches, firewalls and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, backup solutions and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a technical team.

Added Advantages

• CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft, VMware or ITIL certification.
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, HPE Aruba or similar networking technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure upgrades, migrations or disaster recovery activities.
