We believe internships should be genuine learning journeys, not just photocopying runs. You will work alongside our clinical and administrative team to understand how an allied health practice operates from the ground up—gaining exposure to patient relations, clinic workflows, and healthcare digital marketing.

What You Will Learn & Do

Under the mentorship of our clinic team, you will contribute across three key pillars:

1. Patient Concierge & Front Desk Operations

• Welcome patients warmly and assist with front-of-house check-in and check-out procedures.
• Provide dedicated, hands-on wayfinding assistance to post-operative and mobility-impaired patients entering the building.
• Learn to navigate clinical appointment scheduling and manage booking adjustments across practitioner calendars.
• Assist with basic billing procedures, payment collection (NETS, PayNow, Credit), and understand insurance/claims documentation workflows.

2. Clinic Ecosystem & Upkeep

• Support daily clinic maintenance to ensure treatment areas and common spaces remain spotless, hygienic, and welcoming.
• Assist with stock audits and medical inventory tracking so essential clinical supplies are always stocked.

3. Content Creation & Outreach

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and produce engaging social media assets (short videos, reels, educational graphics) using tools like Canva, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Assist with community awareness and healthcare partner outreach materials.

Who We Are Looking For

• Current Polytechnic Students: Open to students pursuing diplomas in Health Services Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, Mass Communications, Sports & Exercise Science, or related fields seeking an official internship placement.
• Warm & Empathetic Mindset: You enjoy interacting with people, show empathy toward patients recovering from injury, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Independent Initiative & Ownership: Able to work independently and take proactive initiative without waiting for instructions—identifying what needs to be done and taking ownership of clinic tasks.
• Collaborative Team Player: A dependable, adaptable team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and support clinic colleagues.
• Clear Communicator: Strong command of spoken and written English; ability to speak a second language or dialect is an advantage when assisting elderly patients.
• Digital Savvy: Comfortable using basic social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok) and design tools like Canva.
