• JOB DESCRIPTION

Fully responsible for the business development operations.

Managing and supervising day-to-day operations of the entire business operations.

Must oversee the efficient receiving, storage and dispatch of a wide range of food grains, spices, groceries and other goods.

Monitor stock and stock movements. Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate.

Developing long-term business plans based on monthly reports

Budgeting and forecasting for the business

Ensuring retail shop has enough stock for sales and necessary supplies and all goods available.

Maintain an optimum inventory that is always having enough stock for sales at the same time there should be no stock overflow.

Hiring, training, and evaluating employees, taking corrective action when necessary. , and training sessions.

Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone and handle customers complaints.

Ensure procurement and storage space are proportional. planning future capacity requirements;

Organising and assist staff recruitment and training, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.

In case of emergencies that is in absence of porter needs to load, unload goods. (Able to handle 25 kg, 50 kg bags).

Report to senior manager, director and coordinate with accounts department.

Weekly 6 days needs to work from Shop opening to Shop closing(10 am to 10 pm with 3 hours break. Saturday, Sunday and public holydays work compulsory)

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - REQUIREMENTS

Secondary or higher education in any discipline but must have knowledge and experience in food grains, spices, groceries and Indian vegetables.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development and Sales and related operations in mini marts or provision shops.

Must have a clear knowledge and experience including product information associated with food grains, spices, groceries and other goods.

Experience in replenishment system that identifies which items are selling and which are stagnant that way you can replenish profit-bearing items more efficiently while eliminating slow moving stock, that is better buying decisions and higher profit margins

Familiarity in human resources, and customer service procedures.

Train and streamline newly recruited staffs in business operations.
