Job Summary

The Test Engineer is responsible for developing, executing and optimising test processes to ensure product functionality and quality. This role involves hands-on testing in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. The engineer will also work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve test-related issues and improve test efficiency and reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop test jigs and automated testing systems for electronic products.
• Develop ICT (In-Circuit Test) fixtures and write Flying Probe Test (FPT) programs.
• Perform Functional Circuit Testing (FCT), troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Document test procedures and improve test process efficiency and reliability.
• Work with R&D, Production and Quality teams to resolve test-related issues.
• Support compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Programming Engineering or IT.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Test Engineering experience, preferably in EMS or electronics manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of ICT, Flying Probe Testing (FPT) and Functional Circuit Testing (FCT).
• Programming skills in C, LabVIEW, Python or Java.
• Understanding of Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
