Role Description The Senior Finance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sungai Petani. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and management reports. The Senior Finance Officer will monitor budgets, support forecasting, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Daily activities include analyzing financial performance, identifying variances, recommending corrective actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decisions. The role also involves strengthening internal controls, assisting in audits, and communicating financial insights clearly to leadership.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, with experience in managing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Effective Communication skills for presenting financial information and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, internal control frameworks, and audit processes.
