The Oracle AML Technical Consultant will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, configuration, and data-level integration of the Oracle Financial Services Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM / OFSAA) suite. Working directly within the bank's internal IT and Risk Systems division, you will bridge the gap between compliance regulations and technical infrastructure. This role ensures that the bank's transaction monitoring, KYC, and sanctions screening systems are robust, performant, and seamlessly integrated with core banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Implementation: Lead the technical deployment and configuration of the Oracle FCCM enterprise suite, including Transaction Monitoring, Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Screening (CS), and Enterprise Case Management (ECM).
• Data Engineering & ETL: Design, develop, and maintain optimized ETL data pipelines to map complex transaction data from multiple core banking systems (e.g., Finacle, T24, custom ledgers) into the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) staging area.
• Scenario Calibration & Optimization: Assist the compliance analytics team in configuring and custom-tuning detection scenarios. Build and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, and graph database scripts to refine data ingestion and scenario thresholds, helping to reduce false positives.
• System Integration & Upgrades: Manage end-to-end software patch installations, application upgrades, and system integrations with third-party watchlists and external API ecosystem feeds.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Own L3 technical support for the AML platform. Diagnose complex performance bottlenecks, database locking issues, and data drop-offs to ensure continuous 24/7 compliance coverage.
• Documentation & Compliance Audit Support: Maintain technical lineage maps, architecture diagrams, and system configuration logs required by internal risk management and external central bank regulators.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
• Direct Experience: 3 to 6+ years of hands-on technical experience explicitly working with Oracle FCCM (formerly Mantas) and the OFSAA data model.
• Database & Programming Proficiency: Advanced, production-level expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, packages, and performance tuning).
• OS & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting, server administration, and automation.
• Big Data & AI (Preferred): Familiarity with Oracle Compliance Studio, Python, Apache Spark, or graph analytics is highly advantageous for modern cloud-based AML models.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of retail, corporate, or investment banking data structures, along with key financial compliance principles (e.g., Swift messaging formats, FATF regulations).
