1. Senior Backend Engineer (API)

Key Responsibilities

• · Architecture & Development: Architect, design, and implement scalable, resilient backend APIs and microservices for core product streams.
• · Quality Assurance: Ensuring high code coverage via unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
• · Technical Leadership: Mentor and upskill junior/mid-level engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
• · Client & Delivery Support: Assist in technical onboarding, custom integration, and deployment support for enterprise customers.
• · AI Integration & Automation: Define, integrate, and optimize AI-assisted Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) workflows and skills.
• · System Performance: Continuously monitor, benchmark, and optimize API performance, latency, and resource utilization.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• · Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful/gRPC API design.
• · Database Knowledge: Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (e.g., Redis).
• · Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket), and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• · Observability: Practical knowledge of setting up distributed logging, metrics, and tracing (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, Splunk or similar kind of tool).
• · Testing & Performance: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) and tuning application performance under load.
