Architectural Design Engineer - LTA Projects

Working days: Mon – Fri: 8am-6pm. Sat: 8am-12pm
Working Location: Jurong East
Salary: $3,500 - $4,500

Job Summary:

The Architectural Design Engineer supports the Senior Design Manager in coordinating and managing architectural design and construction activities for LTA projects. The role ensures that design deliverables are coordinated, compliant with project and authority requirements, and issued in line with the construction programme.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Design Manager in overseeing architectural works and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, LTA requirements, applicable standards, and safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate and track design submissions, approvals, and drawing schedules in line with the project programme and construction progress.
• Coordinate design matters with LTA, relevant authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Review architectural drawings, BIM models, technical submissions, and design deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Manage design issues relating to BIM, technical requirements, contract obligations, and cost.
• Review subcontractor shop drawings and material submissions to confirm they meet the approved design, specifications, and LTA project requirements.
• Identify design clashes, discrepancies, and potential construction issues, and coordinate their timely resolution.
• Monitor architectural work progress and coordinate design information required to support site activities.
• Maintain design records, submission logs, and document control in accordance with project procedures.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in architectural design coordination or construction supervision.
• Experience working on LTA projects is preferred - LTA design coordination, submission, and approval processes.
• Familiarity with BIM and the review of technical submissions and shop drawings.
