Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, supervise production workers, and ensure production targets, product quality, food safety, and workplace standards are consistently met.

The ideal candidate should have experience in production supervision, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage daily factory operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor production output, manpower allocation, machine operations, and production schedules.
• Lead, guide, and discipline production workers to maintain productivity and workplace standards.
• Ensure production targets are achieved according to the production plan.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
• Ensure production processes follow SOPs and applicable food manufacturing requirements.
• Identify production issues, equipment abnormalities, and process inefficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Monitor raw material usage, minimise wastage, and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift handover information.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and compliance with workplace safety requirements.
• Report production performance, operational issues, and improvement opportunities to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Food Technology, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in production supervision, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Experience managing production workers and daily factory operations.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to work hands-on in a factory environment and handle operational challenges.
• Familiar with production planning, manpower allocation, production reporting, and SOP compliance.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, or ISO 22000 is an advantage.
• Able to work on shifts or extended hours when required by production operations.
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and results-oriented.
