Position Title: Club Lounge Attendant
Department: Rooms / Executive Club Lounge
Reports To: Club Lounge Supervisor / Front Office Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for delivering exceptional guest service to Executive Club Lounge guests by ensuring a welcoming environment, maintaining lounge operations, and providing food and beverage services in accordance with hotel standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Welcome and acknowledge guests promptly and professionally.
- Verify guest eligibility and access to the Club Lounge.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, reservations, and local information.
- Handle guest concerns efficiently and escalate issues when necessary.
- Build positive relationships with guests to enhance their overall experience.
Lounge Operations
- Ensure the Club Lounge is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor lounge facilities, furniture, and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Replenish food, beverages, amenities, and supplies throughout operating hours.
- Set up and clear buffet presentations for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails.
- Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene and food safety standards.
Food & Beverage Service
- Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, tea, and other refreshments.
- Assist with food presentation and buffet arrangements.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
- Clear used dishes and maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
- Follow responsible beverage service policies.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain guest records, lounge attendance logs, and service reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and report replenishment requirements.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
- Complete cashiering or billing tasks when required.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and Marriott brand standards.
- Ensure guest confidentiality and data privacy.
- Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns immediately.
- Participate in emergency response procedures when required.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Front Office, Food & Beverage, Guest Relations, or Hospitality is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
