As the Sourcing Lead at ALPHAESS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in driving the company's procurement strategy and ensuring the seamless supply of materials and services. Based in Kulim, Kedah, this full-time position will see you working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and secure the most cost-effective and reliable sources of supply.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop qualified suppliers, and negotiate on pricing, quality, and sustainable material supply for production.

• Manage contracts with suppliers and formulate strategies to optimise production costs.

• Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and assessments.

• Lead the Sourcing team in material development, price maintenance, contract management, and cost optimisation.

• Formulate and implement raw material procurement strategies based on the qualified supplier list.

• Conduct enquiries, price comparisons, and negotiations with suppliers in accordance with company procedures to ensure reasonable purchase prices.

• Conduct price negotiations based on procurement requirements from other departments and prepare price review reports.

• Apply relevant professional knowledge to assist in product selection.

• Complete cost accounting for purchased goods and achieve annual cost-reduction targets.

• Provide guidance to department employees and supervise and evaluate the work performance of subordinates.

• Manage the Sourcing team's tasks, personnel deployment, and work arrangements.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
