Purchaser – Job Description

• Manage the purchasing and procurement of construction materials, equipment, tools, and other project requirements.
• Source and identify reliable suppliers and subcontractors based on price, quality, availability, and delivery requirements.
• Request and compare quotations from suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and suitable terms.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure purchases are made according to approved requirements and company procedures.
• Coordinate with Project, QS, Site, and Accounts Departments to understand material requirements, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor material orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery terms, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, and other procurement documents.
• Monitor supplier performance, material quality, and delivery issues, and resolve any discrepancies or delays promptly.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, approved budgets, project requirements, and proper procurement procedures.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
