We are hiring on behalf of a global IFM provider for a Facilities Manager position. You will be leading the daily operations for a government facility located in the East of Singapore.

Please note this role operates on a 5.5-day work week. Given the urgency of this hire, our client is open to buying out notice periods for the right candidates.

about the role

• Team Leadership: Direct and mentor the integrated facilities operations team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement on-site.
• Service Delivery: Govern day-to-day operations to guarantee all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual commitments are strictly fulfilled by the ground staff.
• Statutory Compliance & Asset Upkeep: Uphold full compliance with all regulatory frameworks and site licensing. Execute routine physical inspections of M&E equipment and building infrastructure, proactively proposing asset enhancements.
• Strategic Client Partnership: Partner with the Account Director to provide technical insights and operational updates during high-level strategic client reviews.
• Stakeholder Management: Spearhead regular operational coordination meetings with key government and agency stakeholders to promptly troubleshoot and mitigate critical site issues.
• Performance Governance: Take charge of site audits, KPI performance tracking, and overall commercial contract governance.

skills and experience required

• Degree in Engineering / Building / Facilities Management / Estate Management or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in similar position as Operation Manager
