Ichor is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Singapore entity and lead the Finance team. This role is responsible for financial reporting, closing, statutory compliance, audit, taxation, budgeting, and forecasting. Working closely with operational leadership, providing financial insights, strengthen internal controls, and support business decision-making.

The ideal candidate possesses strong manufacturing finance experience, leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive financial excellence and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Singapore entity’s financial operations, including month-end closing, statutory reporting, audits, and taxation.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with applicable GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and periodic management reports to support business performance analysis and decision-making.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and implement accounting practices, financial frameworks, and internal controls to ensure compliance and strengthen financial processes.
• Partner with operational leadership to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in managing month-end closing, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management, internal stakeholders, and external agencies.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
