Regulatory Reporting Analyst – Capital Markets

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support regulatory and transaction reporting activities within the capital markets and financial services industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and validating regulatory data, investigating reporting discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage regulatory reporting requirements for capital market products.
• Support daily transaction reporting activities and ensure timely submissions.
• Review, validate, and reconcile regulatory data before submission.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain reporting documentation, audit trails, and supporting records.
• Ensure reporting activities comply with applicable regulatory standards and requirements.
• Support process improvements to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Securities Operations, Regulatory Reporting, or Transaction Reporting.
• Hands-on experience in regulatory reporting is required.
• Practical experience with transaction reporting processes.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, such as:
• EMIR
• SFTR
• ASIC
• CFTC
• MAS
• HKMA
• MiFID II
• Strong analytical, data validation, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Able to manage reporting deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in financial institutions, investment banks, securities firms, or capital markets operations are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
