Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, monthly and year-end closing, financial statements, management reports, and annual group consolidated reporting.
• Oversee daily financial operations, including payments, collections, cash flow management, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Prepare, implement, and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, project costs, and financial performance to support management decisions.
• Manage banking matters, cash flow requirements, and coordinate with panel bankers on project end-financing applications for property development projects.
• Oversee tax computations, statutory reporting, audits, SST, e-Invoicing, and regulatory compliance, while liaising with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, lawyers, government authorities, and suppliers.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team, strengthen internal controls, improve accounting processes, and undertake other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation, SST, e-Invoicing, statutory compliance, and audit requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
