Role Description This is a contract Caller role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Sarawak, Malaysia with some work-from-home flexibility. The Caller will make outbound and receive inbound calls to promote training and consultancy programs, follow up with leads, and confirm participant registrations. Responsibilities include updating call logs and client information in the system, coordinating schedules with the training team, and providing clear information about services, fees, and program details. The Caller will handle basic inquiries, escalate complex questions to relevant team members, and support simple administrative tasks related to events or trainings. The role requires consistent call performance, adherence to scripts and guidelines, and professional communication with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills in English and relevant local languages, with a clear and professional phone manner.
• Customer service and relationship-building skills to engage prospects, handle inquiries, and maintain positive interactions.
• Basic computer literacy, including experience with spreadsheets, CRM or contact databases, and online communication tools.
• Ability to follow scripts and procedures while adapting communication style to different audiences and situations.
• Time management and organizational skills to manage call lists, follow-ups, and reporting within agreed timelines.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setting, with the ability to work both on-site in Sarawak and independently from home.
• Prior experience in telemarketing, call center, or outbound calling roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
