Responsible for generating event sales, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships to achieve revenue targets

THE JOBSCOPE
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase event bookings and revenue.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, agencies, and business partners.
  • Proactively source potential clients and follow up on leads to secure new business.
  • Handle event enquiries, prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales.
  • Promote venue facilities, event packages, meetings, conferences, banquets, and other functions.
  • Conduct site inspections and venue presentations for prospective clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their requirements and recommend suitable event solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure client requirements are communicated and event arrangements are properly managed.
  • Monitor sales performance, follow up on pending proposals, and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline, client database, and records of enquiries and confirmed bookings.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on business opportunities and revenue forecasts.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in hotels, conference centres, banquet operations, or event venues.
  • Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
