We are outsource HR company ,now is assisting our client looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Halal Executive to manage and maintain the company's Halal certification and compliance requirements in accordance with JAKIM guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Halal certification applications, renewals, and ongoing compliance with JAKIM requirements.
• Maintain and update the Halal Assurance System (HAS), including ingredient records, supplier Halal certificates, product specifications, and related documentation.
• Conduct internal Halal audits to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Organise and conduct Halal awareness training for employees to ensure understanding of Halal requirements and practices.
• Liaise with suppliers to verify the Halal status of raw materials and ensure all required documentation is valid and up to date.
• Review, approve, or reject raw materials based on Halal compliance requirements and company procedures.
• Identify Halal non-compliance issues, initiate corrective actions, and follow up to ensure effective resolution.
• Work closely with relevant departments to ensure Halal requirements are consistently implemented throughout operations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Halal Industry Management, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Must possess a recognised Halal Executive Certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the food manufacturing industry or a related field.
• Good knowledge of JAKIM Halal certification requirements, Halal standards, and Halal Assurance System (HAS).
• Good documentation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to maintaining Halal compliance.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Balakong: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
