We're Hiring: Key Account Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to grow and strengthen our key customer partnerships across retail channels.

You’ll be responsible for delivering sales and profitability targets, developing strategic account plans, managing trade investments, and identifying opportunities to grow our brands within your assigned accounts. This role works closely with Trade Marketing, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to turn commercial plans into strong execution in market.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profitability targets across assigned key accounts
• Develop and execute account plans, sales strategies, promotions, and commercial initiatives
• Build strong relationships with buyers and key customer stakeholders
• Lead commercial negotiations including trading terms, promotional plans, and trade spend
• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts and identify opportunities for further growth
• Monitor sell-in, sell-out, product performance, and account profitability
• Manage sales forecasting and work cross-functionally to ensure healthy stock flow and availability
• Maximise product visibility through effective assortment, merchandising, promotions, displays, and new product launches
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify risks and opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Key Account Management or FMCG sales
• Experience managing pharmacy, Modern Trade, General Trade, or other major retail accounts
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Good understanding of sales forecasting, trade spend, promotions, and account performance
• Analytical and comfortable working with sales data to support commercial decisions
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Results-driven, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience guiding or supervising a sales team is an advantage
