We are seeking an Economic Development Officer to support private-sector economic development initiatives, regional market expansion strategies, and public-private partnership programs. You will analyse industry data, coordinate business advisory projects, and help corporate clients navigate local growth grants and economic incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct macro-economic and industry research to identify market trends, investment opportunities, and business expansion strategies.
• Assist in formulating advisory reports, policy feedback briefs, and strategic proposals for enterprise clients and industry associations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design community or corporate economic development programs.
• Support clients in tracking, applying for, and complying with government enterprise grants, capability-building frameworks, and local incentive schemes.
• Coordinate workshops, networking seminars, and stakeholder engagement meetings with industry leaders and government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in economic research, business consultancy, corporate development, or trade associations.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in processing market data and structuring comprehensive business reports.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced advisory environment.
