About Us

Delve Business Services is a growing accounting and business advisory firm providing bookkeeping, accounting, taxation, and business support services to Australian clients. We work closely with businesses across various industries and support their day-to-day accounting and compliance requirements.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and a desire to build a career servicing Australian businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and accounting services for Australian clients
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Payroll processing and payroll reconciliations
• Preparation and review of financial reports
• Month-end and year-end accounting tasks
• Fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• GST/BAS workpaper preparation
• General ledger reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of management reports
• Assist senior accountants with taxation and compliance work
• Maintain accurate and organized client records
• Communicate professionally with internal team members and clients

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualifications such as:
• ACCA
• CA
• CPA
• CIMA
• or currently pursuing a recognized professional accounting qualification
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred

• Experience working with Australian accounting firms or Australian clients
• Knowledge of Australian bookkeeping and accounting practices
• Experience with:
• Xero
• MYOB
• QuickBooks Online
• Understanding of BAS, GST, payroll, and Australian compliance requirements
