Job Summary

The Pastry Intern will assist the pastry team in preparing, baking, decorating, and presenting a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery products. This role offers hands-on experience in pastry production, food preparation, and daily kitchen operations while working in a collaborative culinary environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily preparation, baking, decorating, and presentation of pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery items.
• Support the pastry team in kitchen setup, food preparation, and maintain general kitchen operations.
• Follow standard food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth service and production.

Requirements:

Qualification & Education

• Currently pursuing or completed a Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry/Baking, Food & Beverage Services, SPM/STPM, or a related field.

Skills & Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of baking principles and standard food hygiene procedures.

Personality & Attributes

• Strong passion for pastry, baking, and the culinary arts.
• High willingness to learn, adapt, and develop pastry skills.
• Good attitude, strong discipline, and a collaborative teamwork mindset.

Pay: RM700.00 - RM800.00 per month
