Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry.

At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of chemical sourcing, supplier qualification, purchasing procedures, and inventory management.

Experience negotiating with local and international chemical suppliers.

Understanding of SDS, COA, chemical specifications, and hazardous chemical handling requirements.

Good analytical, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.

Commercial negotiation and contract management.

Develop and implement purchasing strategies for chemicals and related materials.

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups.

Ensure the timely availability of chemicals to meet production and operational requirements.

Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop reliable chemical suppliers and manufacturers.

Ensure purchased chemicals meet approved specifications and internal quality requirements.

Verify relevant Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Certificates of Analysis (COA), technical specifications, and product documentation.

Monitor stock levels, consumption rates, lead times, and reorder points.

Coordinate with production planning and warehouse teams to prevent stock outs and excess inventory.

Manage slow-moving, obsolete, expired, and near-expiry chemical stocks.

Plan procurement according to production forecasts and inventory requirements.

Coordinate with logistics and customs agents for local and overseas shipments.
