Some of your responsibilities:
- Responsible for all maintenance activities for both production and supporting equipment, analyzing maintenance and production data to reduce unplanned downtime and improve OEE.
- Implementing methods to evaluate manufacturing process and equipment problems systematically, making sound recommendations to prevent recurrence based on root cause analysis (RCA).
- Executing preventive maintenance plans and calibration programs to ensure equipment reliability, safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are at top-notch conditions.
- Able to read technical drawings such as P&IDs and electrical drawings, and able to use CAD and IT tools to facilitate project and maintenance activities.
- Managing spare parts inventory for all equipment in the facility and ensuring that parts inventory is healthy and that the 5S concept is being practiced.
- Leading and providing technical solutions with regards to safety, environment, and cost effectiveness, in an effort to support the company's continuous improvement (CI) programs.
- Consolidating equipment breakdown reports, conducting RCA/failure analyses, and proposing solutions/methods for problem solving and process improvement (MTBF and MTTR) in weekly maintenance reports.
- Leading safety committee programs/campaigns to instil and enhance safety awareness at the manufacturing facility.
- Working with project and technical teams to install, commission, and validate process equipment and control systems of new manufacturing lines.
- Supporting and coordinating matters related to government agencies and local authorities, including but not limited to the Fire and Rescue Department, DOSH, DOE, and local government agencies.
- Handling ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.
Someone who will be able to perform well in this role would have:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering (chemical, electrical/electronic, mechanical, mechatronic/electromechanical, or instrumentation and control).
- Experience: 6 years of working experience in the food and beverage industry with a GFSI system.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, effective communication, and good analytical skills. Ability to meet project timelines with a great sense of urgency. Hands-on maintenance experience, continuous improvement project experience, and project management experience are added advantages.
