Job Role:- Java Backend Software Engineer

Experience:- 10+ Years

• Design, develop, and scale backend services and data pipelines for search indexing.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and indexing efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance search infrastructure.
• Conduct code and design reviews, mentor engineers, and drive technical improvements.
• Lead system migrations and modernisation with minimal service disruption.

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend development or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Strong problem-solving skills in performance optimisation, scalability, and reliability.
• Ability to independently manage complex technical projects from design to implementation.

• Experience in search infrastructure, indexing pipelines, inverted indexes, information retrieval, or query serving.
• Knowledge of stream processing and large-scale data systems.
• Familiarity with storage systems, caching, sharding, and replication.
• Experience migrating or modernising production systems with minimal service disruption.
