Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash book and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and other financial reports.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, provisions and depreciation.
• Monitor and review Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and collection/payment activities.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor the company's cash position.
• Manage accounting for inventory, raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods.
• Oversee product costing, manufacturing costs and cost variance analysis.
• Analyse financial results, expenses and variances and provide relevant reports to management.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and other relevant parties.
• Ensure timely compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and statutory regulations.
• Establish and maintain proper accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Review accounting records and ensure transactions are properly supported and accurately recorded.
• Lead, supervise and provide guidance to the accounting team.
• Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of full set accounts, financial reporting, inventory and manufacturing costing.
• Good understanding of Malaysian accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and manage a team.
• Hands-on, responsible and detail-oriented.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
