We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to drive end-to-end data integration initiatives from architecture to delivery. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business priorities and technical execution—designing robust ETL workflows, integrating enterprise source systems with specialized enterprise financial risk platforms, and overseeing system enhancements. You will also provide senior technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and ensure optimal production support and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Delivery & Workstream Coordination

• Lead end-to-end data engineering projects from scoping and planning through execution and deployment, focusing on integrating core source platforms with specialized risk management applications.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical designs, data architecture blueprints, and execution roadmaps.
• Collaborate with external technology vendors and cross-functional teams to manage project deliverables, scope adjustments, and dependencies.

2. ETL Development & System Enhancements

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise ETL workflows, data pipelines, and transformation mappings to support evolving business needs.
• Enforce strict data quality, technical standards, and governance protocols across all pipeline developments.
• Seamlessly adapt code structures and pipeline designs in response to changing project scope or user requirements.

3. Team Leadership & Technical Mentorship

• Provide hands-on guidance and technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers to elevate delivery standards.
• Conduct code reviews, establish technical documentation frameworks, and institute best practices in data processing and pipeline design.
• Foster a culture of accountability and proactive issue resolution within the engineering team.

4. Production Support & Systems Optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production data issues, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks within defined SLAs.
• Manage patch installations, vendor updates, and system maintenance routines to guarantee high availability and system reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and transformation logic rules.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong, hands-on experience in design, development, and architecture using Informatica PowerCenter (v10.x or above).
• Direct hands-on experience working with enterprise financial risk management engines or banking risk platforms (e.g., balance sheet management, regulatory capital reporting, or credit risk analytics tools).
• Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, relational database design, and ORM technologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading full-lifecycle data projects and coordinating across cross-functional workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, strong leadership and coaching ability, and a sharp analytical approach to complex data challenges.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
