Securities Operations Analyst - Stock Loan / Settlements | 6-Month Contract

Your new role

You will join the Securities Settlement team, supporting the timely settlement and post-trade processing of securities transactions.
Key responsibilities include:

• Pre-matching and settlement of securities transactions
• Monitoring and resolving failed trades and settlement breaks
• Liaising with agent banks, brokers, counterparties and internal Trading Desks
• Managing high-volume transactions within strict market cut-off times
• Preparing operational reports and resolving reconciliation breaks
• Maintaining strong operational controls to minimise settlement and operational risk
• Supporting activities throughout Japan market hours

This is a 6-month contract position.

What you'll need to succeed

• 1-2 years' experience in Stock Loan, Securities Lending, Securities Settlements, Equities Operations or Trade Support
• Direct Stock Loan / Securities Lending experience is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of equities markets and the securities trade lifecycle
• Experience with settlements, reconciliations, trade breaks or pre-matching is advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Comfortable working within tight deadlines and market cut-offs
• Fresh graduates are not suitable for this requirement
