Role Description The Sector Head Aviation and Aerospace is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for leading GXO’s aviation and aerospace logistics operations and strategy in the region.

This position oversees sector-specific customer relationships, develops growth plans, and ensures service delivery that meets regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Day-to-day tasks include managing key accounts, coordinating logistics solutions for aviation and aerospace clients, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize processes, costs, and performance. The role involves monitoring sector trends, supporting bids and contract negotiations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Sector Head also mentors team members, aligns operations with safety and compliance requirements, and represents GXO in relevant industry forums.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong sector expertise with proven experience in aviation / aerospace sales, logistics or operations.
• Candidates should possess technical understanding of Aircraft and Airworthiness requirements, AOG process, aviation spares mgmt etc including familiarity with regulatory standards and maintenance or parts handling practices.
• Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills to manage contracts, service level agreements, and commercial discussions with customers and partners.
• Candidates should possess leadership and people management capabilities, including experience leading cross-functional teams and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies.
• Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Experience working in Singapore or regional APAC markets and familiarity with local regulatory and commercial environments is beneficial.
