Job Description

We are a structural biology lab seeking one Research Fellow to study protein structure and function. Duties include soluble and membrane protein expression and purification, biochemical and biophysical assays, cryo-EM sample preparation, data analysis, manuscript preparation and student mentoring.

Qualifications

PhD in Protein Biophysics, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or a related discipline.

Skill & Knowledge:

• Experience in protein purification, biochemical assays and biophysical characterization.
• Experience with mitochondrial proteins, cryo-EM sample preparation, single-channel electrophysiology, fluorescence spectroscopy or protein–ligand interactions is desirable.
• Postdoctoral research experience and a strong publication record are preferred.
• Good written and spoken English and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are required.
