Role Description The Receiving Specialist is responsible for accurately receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming shipments of groceries and household goods in the store’s warehouse and back-of-house areas. Responsibilities include checking delivery documentation, inspecting goods for quality and accuracy, updating inventory records, and organizing stock in designated storage locations. The role involves safe operation of material-handling equipment, maintaining a clean and orderly receiving area, and coordinating with store, purchasing, and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, working closely with colleagues across operations to ensure efficient stock flow and product availability.

Qualifications
- Strong shipping and receiving skills, including inspecting, verifying, and documenting incoming goods.
- Experience with inventory control processes, stock rotation, and basic inventory systems.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently in a warehouse or retail environment.
- Forklift operation skills and relevant certification or willingness to obtain certification, where required.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and basic computer literacy for data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods safely.
- Previous experience in grocery, retail, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
