• Education:Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree inQuantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.

• Experience:Minimum of 1 to 3 years of working experience as a QS, specifically within theinterior design, fit-out, or renovation industry. (Fresh graduates with strong internship exposure in interior fit-outs are welcome to apply).

• Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especiallyExcel) and capability to read AutoCAD drawings.

• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and communication skills to deal effectively with designers, project managers, clients, and sub-contractors.

Job Purpose:

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our interior design and renovation projects. This includes pre-contract budgeting, preparing tender submissions, cost estimation, sourcing suppliers/subcontractors, and managing post-contract variations and final accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & BQ Preparation:Conduct detailed take-offs from interior layout plans, detailed drawings, and carpentry 3D visuals to prepare accurateBills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates.

• Tender Management: Assist in compiling and submitting comprehensive tender proposals for residential and commercial fit-out projects.

• Sourcing & Procurement: Source, negotiate, and award contracts to suppliers and subcontractors (e.g., wet works, MEP, custom carpentry, loose furniture) to achieve the best cost-to-quality ratio.

• Contract Administration:Handle post-contract duties, including evaluating monthly progress claims, preparingVariation Orders (VO), and resolving final accounts with clients and subcontractors.

• Budget Control: Monitor ongoing project expenditures against initial budgets to protect company profit margins.
