Summary

Hexagon's Portable Metrology (PCMM) division is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead sales and sales application operations across the AEC Region.

This role owns the full commercial agenda for PCMM in the region: driving sustainable revenue growth, developing market opportunities, and strengthening relationships with strategic customers and channel partners, while ensuring the sales application function provides the technical capability needed to support customer engagement and sales conversion.

Sales Application is integral to the PCMM sales process, partnering closely with Sales to understand customer requirements, demonstrate PCMM products and solutions, and provide the technical and application expertise that underpins business development and deal closure.

Depending on the size and business needs of individual markets, Sales and Sales Application responsibilities may be carried out by dedicated resources or combined within a single role.

Job Responsibilities

A. Regional Sales Strategy & Business Growth

• Define and execute the regional PCMM sales strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Drive sales growth, revenue, order intake, profitability, and market expansion across ASEAN & Pacific.
• Identify growth opportunities, prioritize markets/customers, and lead regional sales initiatives and product launches

B. Sales Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the regional Sales organization.
• Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and accountability measures.
• Strengthen sales capabilities, succession planning, and sharing of best practices across countries.

C. Sales Application / Technical Sales Leadership

• Lead and develop the regional Sales Application team and technical sales capabilities.
• Ensure strong collaboration between Sales and Sales Application throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Build technical expertise and allocate resources to support key opportunities and customer requirements.

D. Customer & Industry Development

• Build and maintain relationships with strategic customers and key stakeholders.
• Support major opportunities and complex customer engagements.
• Drive industry-focused growth strategies and leverage market insights to identify business opportunities.

E. Direct, Channel & Distribution Sales

• Define and optimize sales coverage models across direct and indirect channels.
• Develop distributor and channel partner capabilities to drive growth.
• Monitor channel performance and ensure alignment between direct and indirect sales efforts.

F. Sales Pipeline & Performance Management

• Ensure strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and sales discipline.
• Monitor business performance across countries, products, and customer segments.
• Address performance gaps and provide regular business updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

G. Strategic Accounts & Major Opportunities

• Provide leadership for major regional PCMM opportunities and strategic accounts.
• Coordinate Sales and Sales Application resources for complex opportunities.
• Support major product demonstrations, technical evaluations, solution discussions, tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate cross-country opportunities involving regional or multinational customers.
• Engage senior customer stakeholders where regional leadership involvement can support business development and sales closure.

H. Commercial Management

• Guide major commercial proposals, pricing and customer negotiations in accordance with Company policy and delegated authority.
• Maintain appropriate commercial discipline while supporting competitive market positioning.
• Balance revenue growth, profitability and long-term customer development.
• Partner closely with Finance and other relevant functions on major commercial matters.

I. Cross-Functional & Divisional Collaboration

• Work closely with Service, Country Managers, and other divisions to support customer success.
• Drive collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations.
• Support broader regional and organizational initiatives.

J. Leadership Scope

• The Regional Sales Director, ASEAN & Pacific — PCMM provides regional leadership across the PCMM Sales and Sales Application organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant B2B sales experience in metrology, manufacturing technology, industrial equipment, engineering solutions or a related field.
• Proven track record in sales leadership and delivering business growth across multiple countries.
• Experience leading sales teams across different countries and cultures.
• Strong understanding of complex industrial and manufacturing customer environments.
• Experience with direct sales and distributor / channel management.
• Experience managing strategic accounts and complex commercial opportunities.
• Experience working effectively within a multinational and matrix organization.
• ASEAN and/or Pacific market experience strongly preferred.
