Senior Legal Counsel - Data Centre

Our client is a fast-growing global technology and digital infrastructure business with its regional headquarters in Singapore and operations across multiple international markets. The organisation develops and operates large-scale digital infrastructure and data centre projects, with capabilities spanning facility development, construction, procurement, technology infrastructure and ongoing operations.

Responsibilities for this Senior Legal Counsel - Leading Data Centre role

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements relating to the development, construction and operation of data centres, particularly across Singapore, Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Advise on EPC and construction contracts, procurement and equipment supply agreements, land and facility leases, services agreements, colocation agreements and interconnection arrangements.
• Lead negotiations with contractors, vendors, landlords, customers and service providers while balancing commercial priorities with legal and regulatory risk.
• Partner closely with project development, construction, procurement and operations teams throughout the data centre lifecycle.

Requirements for this Senior Legal Counsel - Leading Data Centre role

• Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification, Bar qualified.
• 8+ years of legal experience, including 2-3 years in data centres or related infrastructure sectors.
• Experience within data centres, infrastructure, construction/EPC, real estate and leasing, energy, procurement, technology or outsourcing would be highly relevant.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment.
