Build and pilot cloud infrastructure solutions that improve how teams operate production systems. Join the team to turn operational use cases into practical prototypes, evaluate emerging tools and develop reusable solutions for wider adoption.

Job Type: Full-time Contract (Subjected to renewal / conversion)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess operational use cases and provide technical input to prioritisation decisions.
• Build PoCs and prototypes using cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting and operational tooling.
• Deploy and integrate infrastructure components, monitoring stacks and automation pipelines to support pilots.
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure and operations teams to run pilots, establish baseline metrics and evaluate outcomes.
• Evaluate tools and implementation approaches, recommending solutions based on operational needs and technical trade-offs.
• Develop reusable runbooks, reference configurations, implementation guides and technical documentation.
• Clearly document findings, risks, limitations and dependencies.

Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, SRE, DevOps, cloud engineering or a related field.
• Experience provisioning and managing compute, networking, storage and identity services on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building or operating monitoring and observability stacks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch or OpenTelemetry.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language: Python, Go or Bash.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating on technical design and planning.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings, trade-offs and recommendations clearly.
