Job Description
Commercial Finance
- Partner with Sales, BizOps and management to ensure commercial decisions are supported by appropriate financial analysis.
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Constructively challenge business assumptions and assess whether proposed plans are financially and commercially realistic.
- Review significant commercial contracts from a Finance perspective, including pricing, margins, payment terms and overall financial impact.
- Support financial evaluation of significant customer, reseller, partner and channel opportunities.
Financial Control & Governance Oversight
- Set Finance priorities and the overall reporting timetable.
- Review consolidated financial results prepared by the Finance Manager before submission to the CEO and Board.
- Lead the annual budgeting and group financial planning process.
- Ensure appropriate financial governance is maintained as the business scales.
- Review material or unusual accounting, tax and financial-risk matters with the Finance Manager and external advisers where appropriate.
- Approve Finance policies, authority limits and significant improvements to the control framework.
- Ensure management understands material Finance, compliance and control risks.
Tax, Cross-Border & Regulatory Risk
- Provide senior oversight of the Group's tax risk position.
- Assess the commercial implications of tax outcomes when evaluating pricing, contracts and business cases.
- Work with the Finance Manager and external advisers to assess material cross-border tax matters, including withholding tax, transfer pricing and permanent establishment considerations.
- Identify potential permanent-establishment and other cross-border tax exposures arising from existing or proposed business activities.
- Review material transfer-pricing and intercompany arrangements together with the Finance Manager and external advisers.
- Determine when specialist tax, legal, corporate or accounting advice should be obtained.
- Work with external advisers on complex or non-routine matters.
Treasury & Working Capital
- Review Group cash-flow forecasts and funding requirements.
- Provide liquidity and funding recommendations to the CEO.
- Oversee banking relationships and significant treasury matters.
- Work with the Finance Manager to strengthen cash-management and payment controls.
New Markets & Business Expansion
- Lead the financial analysis supporting proposed new markets
- Perform scenario analysis across alternative market-entry and business structures.
- Consider commercial, financial, tax and regulatory factors when evaluating opportunities.
- Support management in evaluating new-market opportunities by consolidating relevant financial considerations and coordinating inputs from external advisers where required
Finance Leadership & Business Partnership
- Provide senior leadership in Truewatch Finance function.
- Establish consistent planning, reporting and performance-management processes.
- Develop Finance dashboards, financial models and management decision-support tools.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, BizOps, HR and regional teams.
- Represent Finance in senior management discussions and ensure significant financial risks are appropriately escalated.
- Support the development of a Finance culture that balances commercial responsiveness with financial discipline and governance.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Approximately 7-10+ years of progressive Finance experience, including meaningful experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Financial Controller or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong experience in commercial finance, FP&A and business partnering, in addition to accounting and controllership fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with CEOs, senior management or business leaders on financial and commercial decisions.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of multi-entity and preferably multi-jurisdiction Finance operations.
- Experience reviewing complex commercial arrangements, pricing and profitability.
- Experience managing and developing Finance staff.
- Exposure to cross-border taxation, transfer pricing and international business arrangements would be highly advantageous.
- Experience supporting high-growth, technology, SaaS, cloud, software or similarly dynamic businesses would be advantageous.
- Experience with corporate restructuring, new-market entry or rapidly evolving business models would be highly advantageous.

Pay: $8,500.00 - $10,000.00 per month
