The successful candidates will assist with managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, supporting digital marketing activities, and helping to maintain a consistent online presence for the organisation. The role involves assisting with planning and preparing social media content, drafting captions, sourcing creative ideas, scheduling posts, monitoring audience engagement, and supporting the development of online promotional materials. You may also be required to assist with creating basic graphics, editing short videos, researching trending topics, tracking content performance, and responding to general comments or enquiries when necessary. In addition, you will help ensure that published content aligns with the organisation's branding, communication style, and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate should be creative, organised, detail-oriented, and familiar with commonly used social media platforms. Good written communication skills, an eye for visual content, and a willingness to learn new digital tools and techniques are important. Candidates should also be proactive in identifying content opportunities, keeping up with relevant trends, and working collaboratively with the team to support ongoing marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and maintaining the organisation's social media accounts across relevant platforms.
• Support the planning, preparation, and scheduling of social media posts and other digital content.
• Draft engaging captions, descriptions, announcements, and promotional copy for different audiences.
• Assist with creating basic visual content, including graphics, images, short videos, and promotional materials.
• Research social media trends, popular topics, hashtags, and content ideas relevant to the organisation.
• Help develop creative concepts for campaigns, promotions, and online engagement activities.
• Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, audience interactions, and general enquiries.
• Assist with maintaining a consistent brand image, tone of voice, and visual identity across platforms.
• Track basic social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, views, and follower growth.
• Support the preparation of simple reports and summaries on content performance and audience engagement.
• Assist with coordinating social media campaigns, product promotions, announcements, and other marketing activities.
• Keep social media content organised and ensure that posts are prepared according to agreed schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to generate new ideas and improve the effectiveness of online content.
• Perform other social media, marketing, and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Open to fresh candidates and entry-level applicants.
• Interest in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or online communications.
• Familiarity with common social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Creative thinking and the ability to suggest engaging content ideas.

• Basic understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and online branding.
• Basic knowledge of design or video-editing tools is an advantage but not essential.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Responsible, proactive, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
• Previous experience managing social media accounts or creating digital content is an advantage but not required.
