Job Responsibilities – Warehouse Assistant Manager

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and issuing of goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and maintain proper stock control procedures.
• Monitor stock movement and conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure materials and finished goods are stored properly and handled according to company procedures.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks and monitor team performance.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, planning and other departments to ensure smooth material flow and timely delivery.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accuracy and compliance with delivery schedules.
• Maintain proper warehouse documentation and update inventory transactions in the ERP or inventory management system.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization and compliance with safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, space utilization and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare warehouse reports and provide updates on stock levels, inventory discrepancies and operational performance.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager in implementing warehouse policies, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory control or stock management.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Experience supervising or leading a warehouse team is preferred.
• Familiar with inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage daily warehouse operations effectively.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
