Product & Sourcing Manager

About Us Protus Brands is a fast-scaling DTC brand ecosystem. This role focuses on our brand Ziella, specializing in personalized emotional gifting (engraved jewelry + message cards). We spend millions annually on Meta ads, and success relies on shipping high-converting products on a strict seasonal calendar.

The Mission Take 100% ownership of our product launch machine—moving concepts from research and factory sourcing to sample iterations, margin modeling, and launch execution without founder hand-holding. (Note: This role focuses purely on product and sourcing; it does NOT manage copy, ad creative, or paid media).

Key Requirements

• DTC Sourcing Track Record: Proven experience speccing and sourcing physical products directly with factories. Must provide a portfolio of specific products driven from concept to launch.
• Product Taste & Direct Response Context: Instinct for designing emotional gift sets that convert cold Meta traffic within 3 seconds of a video ad.
• Unit Economics: Ability to model costs to hit our gross margin guardrail.
• Operational Execution: Flawless tracking of supplier comms, sample rounds, SKU setup, and replenishment POs to ensure zero missed launch dates.
• AI Fluent: Highly proficient in using generative AI tools daily to accelerate workflows.

30/60-Day Trajectory

• Day 30: Full setup of supplier comms, launch calendar, POs, SKU sheets, and margin models. Shortlist proposals running weekly.
• Day 60: Pipeline reviews running independently (15+ live ideas/category), zero internal coordination delays, and a 50%+ proposal approval rate based on calibrated product taste.
