Job Description

Analytics & Strategy

  • Design and run Champion vs. Challenger tests to continuously improve collection strategies and recovery outcomes
  • Build and maintain MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly) tracking portfolio performance and productivity, using SQL primarily
  • Analyze portfolio trends and collection effectiveness to identify where performance can improve, and translate findings into action
  • Lead ad-hoc deep-dives to answer emerging questions from Risk and business stakeholders

Strategy Design & Execution

  • Develop segmentation and treatment strategies for Consumer and SME loan portfolios across the full recovery spectrum — from early-stage outreach to field visits, legal action, and outsourced partners
  • Support debt resolution programs, including structuring restructuring and settlement options for customers
  • Shape capacity planning to ensure the right resources are in place to execute strategy effectively

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with internal legal teams on recovery actions requiring escalation
  • Set and monitor KPIs for external agency partners, holding them accountable to service standards
  • Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology to enhance processes and systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience in MIS reporting and data analysis
  • 2 years and above experience in a data-driven analytical role within a bank or regulated financial institution
  • Credit risk or collections domain experience is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of collection strategies, delinquency management, or recovery processes; experience managing collection agencies or familiarity with legal recovery procedures
