Role Description The Freight Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight movements for healthcare and life science shipments. This position manages daily import and export activities, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, monitoring transit, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Freight Coordinator communicates regularly with customers, carriers, and internal teams to provide status updates, resolve issues, and maintain high service levels. Day-to-day tasks include tracking shipments, addressing delays, maintaining accurate records in logistics systems, and supporting temperature-sensitive and time-critical deliveries. The role also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and helping ensure operational reliability within Marken’s global network.

• Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills to coordinate with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess freight handling skills, including knowledge of logistics operations and shipment coordination.
• Candidates should possess import and export skills, including familiarity with customs procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or transportation, preferably within healthcare or pharmaceuticals, is beneficial.
• Proficiency with logistics software and MS Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly, is advantageous.
• A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Singapore and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
