  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures and security controls, including cybersecurity, data protection, access management, backup and business continuity.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licences, access permissions, email configuration and security settings.
  • Review and standardise Microsoft 365 subscriptions and other software licences based on operational needs, security requirements and cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate business requirements for AI tools and software applications, recommend suitable subscription plans and assess data security, compliance and cost implications.
  • Establish and maintain standard IT processes for employee onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, system access and equipment allocation.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for employees, including laptops, software, email, connectivity and other IT-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the US IT team to ensure consistent IT standards, system integration and security practices across locations.
  • Support IT setup and ongoing operations for the China office, including network connectivity, equipment, software access and coordination with local IT vendors.
  • Manage office IT infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, meeting-room equipment and other workplace technology.
  • Work with the Office Manager on IT equipment procurement, configuration, maintenance, replacement and asset inventory management.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers, including contract management, service delivery, licence renewals and cost monitoring.
  • Develop a standard IT equipment and software package for employees, including laptops, Microsoft 365 licences, security tools and estimated cost per user.
  • Prepare and maintain IT documentation, asset records, user access lists and relevant technical procedures.
  • Support other IT-related projects and regional expansion initiatives as required.

Education and Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, technical support or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and user access management.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity, endpoint protection, identity and access management, data backup and IT security best practices.
  • Experience in setting up and managing IT infrastructure, networks, Wi-Fi and end-user devices.

  • Experience supporting regional or cross-border IT operations, particularly Singapore, China and the US, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with China's internet connectivity, software accessibility and local IT requirements is an advantage.
  • Experience managing external IT vendors, software licences and IT procurement.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to provide practical and cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and support users remotely and on-site.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with overseas IT teams and non-technical employees.
