Job Description
Chemically clean parts, often engine components, to remove coatings, rust, paint, carbon, and grease before inspection or repair (like FPI).
Follow specific operation sheets, manuals, and SPOP (Standard Process Operating Procedure) specifications for each job.
Add chemicals to tanks, monitor solution concentrations (pH, temperature), test solutions, and manage waste, ensuring material reactivity knowledge.
Operate and monitor cleaning line equipment, pumps, filters, and tanks, assisting maintenance as needed.
Verify part numbers, check for correct processes, identify faulty operations, and maintain meticulous records/paperwork.
Wear protective gear (gloves, masks, suits) and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Requirements
Min GCE ‘O’ level and above
Min 1 year of experience in Aerospace / Manufacturing Industry
