Get to know the role:

We are seeking an analytical, forward-thinking, and research-driven Product Strategy Associate to join our Product team at Hata.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future roadmap of Hata’s digital asset exchange and financial products. Bridging the gap between macro-economic trends, market research, and product execution, you will evaluate regional and global FinTech developments, conduct deep-dive market and economic research, and translate insights into actionable product strategies.

You will work closely with our Product Managers, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure our product offerings remain competitive, commercially viable, and fully compliant with relevant guidelines.

• You will work under the Product team — On-site role, location based in Semantan (close connectivity to all major public transport systems).
• Independent Crypto & Market Research: Conduct end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research on cryptocurrencies, blockchain protocols, and digital asset innovations to surface actionable insights for Hata’s product roadmap.
• Competitor & Product Benchmarking: Perform deep-dive competitor analysis against leading regional and global digital asset exchanges to evaluate product features, fee structures, user experience, and token ecosystems.
• Regulatory & Macro Intelligence: Track global crypto trends, macroeconomic shifts, and local regulatory developments to assess their strategic impact on new product offerings and exchange compliance.
• Market Data & Performance Analysis: Analyze trading volumes, order book liquidity, user transaction patterns, and price volatility to identify potential commercial opportunities, user drop-offs, and product risk profiles.
• Cross-Functional Strategy Briefings: Partner with Product Managers, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations teams to translate research into clear, executive-level strategy memos, whitepapers, and presentation decks.
• Portfolio & Asset Monitoring: Evaluate the ongoing performance, liquidity, and adoption metrics of digital assets listed on Hata’s exchange to support portfolio maintenance and asset review decisions.
• Strategic Product Recommendations: Formulate data-backed recommendations and business cases for new feature rollouts aligned with user demand and revenue targets.

The Must-Have:

• 1–2 years of experience as a Product Strategy, Product Analyst, Crypto/Market Research, Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role focused on software products or financial operations.
• Good understanding of digital assets, spot trading concepts, blockchain basics, and crypto market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel and Google Suite tools.
• Ability to understand and drive both technical and financial requirements, including technology integrations, blockchain ledger principles, and fiat payment rails.
• Excellent logical analysis, systematic planning, structured problem-solving, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, work independently, and handle multiple high-stakes tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity/Interest with digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or fintech is a plus.
