Requirement:

• 1-2 years in F&B, retail or cashiering roles.

Working experience:

• 0-1 year experience acceptable. Training often provided.

Skills Required:

• 1. Customer Service: Friendly, patient and culturally respectful

• 2. Confident handling cash and calculating change.

• 3. Familiar with POS ordering and payment systems.

• 4. Basic understanding of Halal principles and customer expectations.

• 5. Clear and polite interaction with guests and team.

• 6. Able to manage queues, orders, and payments simultaneously.

• 7. Trustworthy with handling money and sensitive customer data.

1. Process cash, card, e-wallet and voucher payments accurately.

2. Greet guests, answer menu-related questions and provide receipts.

3. Ensure only Halal-certified items are promoted and sold.

4. Avoid cross-selling or upselling non-Halal items.

5. Use digital POS systems for order entry, billing and reporting.

6. Communicate with kitchen/service crew to ensure order accuracy.

7. Balance cash drawer at the start and end of shifts.

8. Maintain a tidy cashier station in line with Halal hygiene standards.

9. Assist with packaging, takeaway orders and queue management during peak hours
