Job Description:
Responsible for month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
Ensure the maintenance of accurate journal entries, including allocations and reclassification journals, particularly those related to shared services.
Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable team and manage payment preparation.
Manage intercompany invoicing for shared services.
Prepare reconciliation statements for bank transactions and intercompany balances.
Compile the Monthly Accounts Pack (MAP) in Excel; reconcile accounts and deliver transaction analyses.
Provide analysis and input for annual regulatory surveys as required.
Prepare timely and accurate tax reports for Singapore GST filings.
Respond to external auditors regarding audit data, variance explanations, and audit findings.
Compile tax-related information to support income tax computations.
Source available interest rates and place fixed deposits with banking institutions.
Liaise with landlords concerning the renewal of bankers’ performance guarantees.
